Man, 32, stabbed to death on Staten Island street

A 32-year-old man was stabbed to death on a Staten Island street, police said Thursday.
Desuan Baker-Dunning was stabbed in the chest at Bay and Wave Sts. in Stapleton about 4:40 p.m. Wednesday, cops said.
Medics rushed the victim to Richmond University Medical Center but he could not be saved. His name was not immediately released.
The killer got away. Police are looking for a man dressed in a blue jacket who fled the scene, possibly in a gray vehicle.
Baker-Dunning lived in the Bath Beach area of Brooklyn, according to cops.
The bloodshed comes in the wake of a shocking stabbing spree Monday, when Ramon Rivera was arrested for sneaking up on and fatally stabbing three people in random attacks across Manhattan.
Also on Monday, Nestor Padilla, 48, was fatally stabbed in the Bronx in front of a building near Marion Ave. and E. 194th St. around 11:42 a.m. Cops arrested Junior Ovalles, 35, three blocks from clash and charged him with the stabbing and weapons possession.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday around 10:23 a.m., a 55-year-old tourist from Denmark was slashed in the face after a man rushed up behind him and stabbed the visitor on W. 86th St. near Columbus Ave. on the Upper West Side. The tourist was in stable condition at Mount Sinai Morningside.
